Welcome to the Armageddon Paintball Supply website and I am about to tell you how to get started playing paintball. Paintball is an awesome and fun experience and I would encourage anyone to atleast try to play it once. First off, you are going to need equipment whether you are going to buy it, borrow it, or rent it. You will need a face mask, or goggles. Dont use practical eye goggles, those will not protect your ears, nose, or mouth. Which could end in injury. Use only paintball specific masks or goggles! About the price of paintball masks can cost 20 dollars plus. Next you will need a paintball marker which will most likely be the most exspensive part of your equipment. You can get brand new markers that have never been used, which will start out around 60 dollars, or you can get a remanufactured marker which start out around 30 dollars. Remanufactured markers are cheaper than new markers, they are used but the remanufactured marker should work just fine, the only thing you should notice about it is that the cosmetics of the marker are not of those that are new. Make sure that you also include a hopper with your marker, which start out around only 5 dollars. Next you will need a co2 container. Co2 containers start out around 23 dollars, depending on what size you want. The container that is filled with co2 that propells the paintballs out of your gun. You can also get remanufactured co2 containers. You will need to have your co2 container refilled every once in awhile when your co2 gets low. Refills will cost around 5 dollars, the price varies depending on the size of the co2 container. You can shoot approximately 25-30 paintballs per ounce of co2 (Dont hold me to it). Next you will need paintballs, you can get practically any grade of paintballs you want and in most colors. A bag of 500 paintballs will cost you around 15 dollars, and a box of 2000 will cost you around 40 dollars, depending on the paintballs. You can also buy kits that have most of the equipment in it for a cheaper price than buying all of the equipment seperately. Just look at what is available and base the best decision off of that. Once you get all of your equipment and make sure that it is working good. You will need to find a place to play. You can go to a paintball fields where all the walls and such is all ready set and ready to play on, though you will have to pay a fee to be able to play. Or you can get together with your friends or find a group of paintballers and play with them on private property, normally called woodsball. Though there are no public fields in Parsons Kansas. When you find somewhere to play all you need is practice, also remember safety! But remember paintball isnt all about competition, it is about having fun. |
